Maverick Creek I
Maverick Creek I is a beautiful 1,033+ acre ranch with large live oak and mesquite trees. It has a charming 1930's house which has been completely remodeled and overlooks the Kline grass pasture stretching across the entire front property line. A custom built lighted stone and concrete outside patio complete with an outdoor kitchen and fire pit make an excellent refuge for everyone to enjoy relaxing and company after a long day of hunting.
Stone benches line the edge of the patio and a Mexican tile covered bar in front of the grill gives plenty of seating for everyone. A caliche road runs from the solar powered electric gate with stoned key pads at the main entrance all the way to the main house, as well as to the 80' mobile home used as a lodge for hunters or guests. The lodge has a metal roof and wide front deck to spot exotics grazing in the distance, while watching one of our beautiful Texas sunsets. This ranch has been used for growing and hunting a great number of exotic game species over the years, so a first rate exotic game sorting barn and catch pen facility has been added on one side of the property. It is attached to a well improved high game fenced wheat/hay grazer field approximately 180 acres in size that is used to grow crops for additional feed for the animals on the ranch.
There's approximately 5 miles of caliche roads running throughout the property with a fire break road around the perimeter fence. Ten miles of 8 ft. tight-lock wire high game fencing makes up the perimeter and cross fences (used for herd rotation) on the ranch, Two service gates in addition to the main entrance gate provide access. There's also a large dirt water tank for the animals to swim & cool off in. Maverick Creek Ranch is located in wonderful hunting country being only 30 minutes west of Brady & 45 minutes east of San Angelo (right between the two). The ranch is stocked with animals that have some of the best genetics in the state on a piece of property that is a gorgeous example of improved land on the Northern edge of the Texas Hill Country.
